CONCRETE JUNGLE

56 days ago I stuck many seedlings and seeds into some dirt.  The dirt was in boxes.  The things grew.  I had some help from my friend Marta Teegan.  She is a master gardener.  She wrote a book called "Homegrown".  It is a good book.  You should get it.  I am proud of the plants.  The gave my patio life.  The lettuce tastes like crap.  Everything else is awesome.  I guess mid- April in California is not exactly "early spring".  Next time lettuce.
