HAIM sounds like RHYME.  Don't call me HAME.  Though HAME does sound like FAME... which is rushing towards these three valley girls.  They are sisters.  They are a Band.  They are F-ing awesome.  Smart, Funny, Humble, Tall and Talented.  My kind of gals!!!  Download their EP Forever right now!  They spent the day with me yesterday for an upcoming project.  I am in love.  Keep you posted on the awesome-ness.

40 YEARS

My parents, Kathy and Andy, have been married for 40 years today.  They are the best couple in the world.  I sent them this print for their anniversary.  The image reminds me of them.  Handsome, sturdy, and simple.  Peacefully and happily existing in the world together.  The chairs were designed and built by me and Luke a few summers ago.  To my folks I say, thank you for always being such great role models. Thanks for getting married.  Thanks for making me.

MY FAVORITE SHOES

I met Elisa Restrepo in a cab in New York one very rainy afternoon during fashion week.   A year later I used her radical shoes... Dieppa Restrepo...  for the JKSS2012 LOOKBOOK.  I fell madly in love with these oxfords.  They are my very favorite shoes.  I want to link you to their amazing website, but google tells me it will make my computer ill.  But why!
